[EDITOR`S LETTER] MODE LAB 2 LVL

Hello, readers! With increasing numbers of followers we need to do rebranding next week. Rebranding will not be limited with new layout but also new ideas to make our project better. 

Two groups of writers: 

First group is for everyone that sends us their articles. But day by day amount of articles are increasing with unbelievable speed. So now all posts have to be edited and maybe we won’t be able to publish your post.

Second group is for our full-time writers who will write about topics we choose for them or about they want and it will 100% be published. Their names will be shown in sidebar. And they will have page on our blog with contacts and links so people can always find them on social sites. To be our full time writer you need to answer few questions and send us one article about everything.

  HOW TO BE IN OUR TEAM

Photographers are welcome:

Photographers who wants to promote their work can send us three or more photos in good quality with link on their website. 

ISSUE magazine: 

On September we start to work with new format. Every three months we will choose the best articles and photo posts and combine it to one issue magazine.

NO outfit posts:

Several times our editors found in our email few outfit posts. So I should warn you: WE DON’T PUBLISH POSTS WITH ONLY OUTFIT PHOTOS! If you want to share your super cool taste, you can change it to article. How? Choose one key-thing of your outfit. And tell us how to combine it in more outfits.  

DIY category:

DIY posts are great!

How to write an article

1.Choose the topic. 

For easiest way of writing choose topic you are interested the most or other interesting for your. Its better when you have emotionally connected with the topic

2. Choose the Audience

Before you let words fly on the piece of paper(yeah, i know, most of you typing on pc), think about people that will be reading your article. They are the most important point in your writing. You don't want to write about superstring theory when your readers are mostly fashion bloggers. Think about it!

3. DO THE STRUCTURE

Structure in articles is very very important because it helps you to not having chaos in your article and to not forgetting thing you wanted to write about. Do it like a list.

4. Pay attention to the length 

It has to be enough long. You feel when you are tired of that topic, when it happens you must stop(of course, if you aren’t paid for words in article). Because it has never been good when you write over your power it begins to be boring and tiring to read

5.Decorate your article

People will pay more attention to your words when it has picture. Choose pictures not so big and not bright. It have to catch attention of reader not causing him to scroll it down. More and more pics you post before text, less and less is important the text. And proportionally it has to be 1:4(there’s one for pic and four for text). But if you have to use one picture for every structure point, that’s okay.

New Era
